Solar Power International 2018

Join us for Solar Power International 2108 in Anaheim, CA. BayWa r.e. will be exhibiting on the main show floor with a variety of products and services offered by our Projects and Distribution companies. Stop by to find out how you can partner with BayWa r.e. for solar success.

Below is an overview of what BayWa r.e. has going on at the show. We hope you can join us for one or all of these activites during SPI 2018!


The Giving Game

Stop by our booth (#1838) to take our Giving Game for a spin. You can win prizes and VOTES by spinning the wheel. Lucky participants will be entered to win the grand prize drawing for an iPad Pro, which will be given away during our Happy Hour on Wednesday, September 26th. Everyone who spins will recieve a chance to vote for one of three solar non-profits. 

The three worthy non-profits are, Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE), set up to promote diversity and the role of women in the renewable energy sector; Vote Solar, an advocacy organization which works across the US to make solar affordable and accessible to more Americans; and Grid Alternatives, a non-profit working across both the US and internationally to make renewable energy technology and job training accessible to underserved communities.

The winning organization will be announced at noon on Thursday, Sept 27th. Join us in the booth to watch the award of the giant $5,000 check and see how much money we raised for all of our 3 charities!

Delivering Energy Storage

Speaker: Vitaly Lee, EVP of Development, BayWa r.e. Solar Projects

Vitaly will be talking about the major revenue opportunities for energy storage in the US and advice on how these deals are structured.  This presentation is part of the IBESA's 3rd Annual US Energy Storage Day, Part 1, which begins at 8am.

Boaz will moderate a discussion around how to run a healthy solar business with a diverse panel of industry experts. In a market with increasing levels of complexity for contractors and developers, the discussion will center on how businesses are successfully managing change and growth.

Our happy hour is not to be missed! Join us at our booth for great r.e.freshing brews- a selection of excellent craft beers from local breweries will be served. This year we will host a Formula-E Slot car tournament and be giving away the Giving Game Grand Prize of an iPad Pro!
