Meet our Executive Team
Years in Renewables: 11+
Geoff Fallon brings extensive experience in development, engineering, and project management to his role at BayWa r.e. Americas. As Interim CEO and COO, Geoff oversees project management, interconnection, engineering, procurement, and construction activities while driving operational efficiency across all company operations.
Previously, Geoff served as Vice President of Engineering and Project Management at Cypress Creek Renewables, where he managed EPC contracting and oversaw projects totaling over 1 GW with $1 billion in project costs. Geoff also held development roles at Cypress Creek and project management positions at Invenergy.
Before transitioning to renewable energy, Geoff spent nearly four years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, managing construction projects in the Chicagoland area and Afghanistan.
Geoff holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University.

Alexandra serves as EVP and Head of People Experience at BayWa r.e., where she leads the regional people strategy across the Americas and champions company culture. She oversees conflict resolution, workplace investigations, employment law compliance, HR systems and process analysis, and performance management.
She began her career in Human Resources in the banking industry, where she held managerial and director-level roles. She later transitioned to the energy sector with Aegion Corporation before moving into the renewable energy space at BayWa r.e.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History from the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Spanish, which strengthens her leadership and her ability to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders across the Americas.

Carolina Núñez serves as Head of Legal & Compliance for the Americas region at BayWa r.e. She leads the legal department, providing strategic legal advice across all departments and projects from early-stage development through to completion. Carolina oversees contract negotiations and closings throughout the project lifecycle, including financing agreements, tax equity investments, EPC contracts, supply agreements, O&M agreements, and M&A transactions.
Carolina began her career in Spain with the corporate law firm Garrigues, where she negotiated finance structures, investment agreements, and private equity deals. She later served as General Counsel at Grupo Azvi, a company specializing in large infrastructure projects, where she also contributed to renewable energy developments across Spain, Eastern Europe, and Mexico.
Carolina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Administration, and Management from Pablo de Olavide University and a Master of Laws from Columbia Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of New York, registered as in-house counsel in California, and qualified to practice law in Spain. Carolina is an active mentor and advocate with Women in a Legal World, supporting aspiring female leaders in the legal industry.

Mike Danielson is the Executive Vice President, Commercial, at BayWa r.e. Americas. He leads the commercial team, focusing on offtake sourcing for existing projects and origination of new project opportunities. His team is responsible for PPA negotiations, identifying and analyzing new project locations, and conducting related data analytics.
Before joining BayWa r.e., Mike held senior leadership positions in commercial, trading, and finance in the competitive power sector. His experience includes serving as CFO for an Independent Power Producer (IPP) with 4.4 GW of generation. He also led successful power trading operations, negotiated power sales agreements nationwide, managed asset divestments and restructurings, and developed long-term revenue forecasting and hedging strategies for power plants in ISO and bilateral markets.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Mike Stanton serves as Executive Vice President of Development at BayWa r.e. Americas. In this role, he leads solar project development across the United States, managing greenfield site origination, real estate transactions, site diligence, interconnection processes, and permitting activities. Mike and his team also cultivate strong relationships with project stakeholders, including landowners, permitting officials, utility interconnection teams, and diligence consultants.
Before joining BayWa r.e. Americas, Mike held development roles at NextEra Energy Resources, Cypress Creek Renewables, and Sun Tribe Development. Over the course of his career, he has led teams responsible for developing more than 10 GW of solar projects, spanning utility-scale and distributed generation projects nationwide.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Environmental Studies from the College of Charleston.

Courtney is the Vice President of the Independent Power Producer (IPP) department at BayWa r.e., where she oversees the company’s solar and wind farms within the Americas.
Courtney began her career in accounting as a manager at Ernst&Young, where she audited public and private companies in the field of manufacturing, real estate, and technology. She later moved into consulting at NOW CFO, where she provided operational accounting and financial consulting services to various companies, including BayWa r.e. After six years as a consultant, she joined BayWa r.e. as Vice President of Finance for the Wind team, leading internal and external accounting, budgeting, treasury, risk management, tax equity, and financing.
Courney holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. She is also a certified CPA in the State of California.

Mario Pani serves as Co-Managing Director for BayWa r.e.’s LATAM region, where he leads strategy and drives the company’s expansion across Latin America. His responsibilities include greenfield development, project acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and co-development of solar projects.
Mario entered the renewable energy industry with NuuPower, where he spearheaded the company’s U.S. expansion efforts. He later founded and presided over Amala, a firm dedicated to developing sustainable real estate in Mexico. Before transitioning to renewables, Mario held senior roles in the banking industry, managing investments and leading capital-raising initiatives.
Mario holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA from Boston University. He is fluent in Spanish and serves as a key liaison for BayWa r.e.’s activities in Latin America.

Raúl is the Co-Managing Director for the LATAM Region for BayWa r.e. In his role, he is responsible for the strategy and the expansion of BayWa r.e. to Latin America via greenfield development, project acquisition, strategic partnerships, and co-development of solar projects.
Raúl started his career in the renewable energy industry with Clipper Windpower, where he led the development of the wind pipeline, including the first permitted onshore wind project in Mexico. Before joining BayWa r.e., Raúl held managing roles at EDP Renewables, where he was responsible for the regional business strategy and project development for Mexico and the western United States.
Raúl holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), Mexico City.
