BayWa r.e. Wind LLC proudly announces its participation in American Wind Week this coming August.
BayWa r.e. will be working in collaboration with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) to host open houses at six of its wind power plants across the United States.
Six of the companies‘ operating wind farms will be opened to the public for visitation on August 7th. Representatives from BayWa r.e. will be present at each site to greet visitors and answer questions related to wind energy and the development of those projects.
“BayWa r.e. is eager to support AWEA by hosting community events across the US for American Wind Week,” stated Florian Zerhusen, CEO of BayWa r.e. Wind LLC. He continued, “Sustainability is of core importance for BayWa r.e., and educating the community about their local energy resources is something we view as a critical part of building a sustainable future.”
Local community members are invited to come out and learn about wind energy first hand. BayWa r.e. Wind open houses will be hosted on Tuesday, August 7th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm (local time zones) at the following locations:
Anderson Wind Farm – Hagerman, New Mexico
Beethoven Wind Farm – Avon, South Dakota
Big Timber Wind Farm – Big Timber, Montana
Brahms Wind Farm – Grady, New Mexico
Chopin Wind Farm – Westin, Oregon
Mozart Wind Farm – Jayton, Texas
