BayWa Establishes a Cooperative for Bavarian Farmers
BayWa starts operations as an agricultural cooperative with 400 warehouses in Bavaria, Germany. The company supplies essential farming resources, supporting local farmers in building strong agricultural foundations.
Our Company Structure
BayWa r.e. is built on a strong foundation. The company is jointly owned by BayWa AG and Energy Infrastructure Partners (EIP), whose backing provides the stability and resources to operate worldwide as a global renewable energy company.
In the United States, this work is organized into three distinct businesses: BayWa r.e. Americas, which develops and manages projects and services; BayWa r.e. Power Solutions, which delivers engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for large-scale projects; and BayWa r.e. Solar Systems, which focuses on solar equipment distribution across the Americas.
Together, these arms make up the structure of BayWa r.e. in the Americas.
BayWa r.e. Americas
BayWa r.e. Americas is a utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage developer and service provider. Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, we are fully integrated and manage all aspects of development, from site origination through long-term operations. We currently have 12.8 GW in our development pipeline, manage over 1.2 GW of operational assets across the U.S. and Mexico, and have brought over 2 GW online since 2014.
