Project Overview

BMW Solar, located in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, reached Commercial Operation Date in the summer of 2021. With its 5 MWac capacity, it is providing energy to the BMW Group, helping them achieve their goal of reducing their carbon emissions by 80% by 2030. BMW Solar is part of BayWa r.e.’s Independent Power Producer (IPP).
