Mozart Wind Farm
Proven wind power performance for the Texas grid.
Project Overview
Mozart Wind is a 30 MW wind farm located in Kent and Stonewall Counties, Texas. The site features 12 Nordex N100 wind turbines, each with a hub height of 262 feet, optimized for the medium wind speeds typical in the area. Since its commissioning in 2012, Mozart has generated renewable energy for approximately 7,000 homes, contributing around 59 GWh annually to the ERCOT grid, which manages Texas's electrical power.
Note: The facility delivers renewable electricity into the grid. Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) associated with this generation are sold separately.
