Cornucopia Hybrid
Project Overview
Cornucopia Hybrid is a 300 MW utility-scale solar-plus-battery storage project proposed in Fresno County, 1.25 miles northwest of the Fresno County boundary with Kings County. The project will provide reliable energy through the installation of solar arrays and battery storage systems on approximately 1,800 acres in southwestern Fresno County.
The project is expected to generate tax revenue for Fresno County, directly supporting local schools, infrastructure, first responders, and other essential services. Additionally, the project will support construction jobs and several long-term operations and maintenance positions.

The project will not require water on-site with the exception of dust management during construction.
Cornucopia Hybrid Project will be located on Nonprime Agricultural Land, allowing for energy production without affecting viable farmland.
The project design will also accommodate dual-use agriculture by employing sheep grazing alongside the solar modules.
Employing sheep grazing alongside the solar modules offers benefits such as managing vegetation, mitigating flammable vegetation, and enriching the soil.
We commit to responsibly siting and minimizing disturbance to the local environment.
We conduct focused surveys to identify any potential impacts and create action plans to leave the area in better condition than we found it.
The addition of homegrown solar energy and battery storage enhances grid stability and promotes sustainable energy usage in Fresno County. By collecting and storing solar energy, we ensure reliable and affordable electricity while reducing reliance on traditional energy sources.
