Purpose of collecting and storing your personal data
We predominantly use the personal data provided by you (incl. address, contact information, if applicable bank account information) to answer or process any order or enquiry from you or to grant you access to certain information or offers. If necessary, we may disclose your personal data to service companies for processing business transactions or to credit reference agencies for credit analysis and surveillance.
For customer relations purposes, we or one of our service companies may need to use your personal data in order to inform you about services offered which are useful for your business activities or to conduct online surveys in order meet the needs and requirements of our customers more effectively.

In the event that you do not wish to provide us with your personal data for the purpose of supporting our customer relations activities (in particular for direct marketing or market research), you may object to the processing and use of your personal data for marketing purposes at any time. Use of your application data
In the event that you submit your application via our application portal, we will store your personal data in a secure business environment in order to protect it from loss or abuse. Your application data will be made available solely to authorised persons at BayWa AG and its affiliates who are involved in the application process, e.g. in order to be able to offer you possible alternative positions. After completion of the application process (i.e. after we have accepted or rejected your application) we will store your data for a maximum period of 18 months. You may request that your data be deleted at an earlier date, no earlier however than five months after completion of the application process. It is a statutory requirement that we store your data for this period of time in order to comply with regulations pertaining to the proper processing of applications and to be able to answer questions relating to your application and/or its rejection. Data transfer and logging for intrasystem and statistical purposes
Upon accessing our website, your internet browser automatically transfers data to our web server for technical reasons. This includes the date and visit duration, the URL of the referring website, the retrieved file, the volume of data sent, the browser type and version, the operating system and your IP address. This data is stored separately from other data you enter when using our site. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person and is evaluated for statistical purposes only or used only within the scope of criminal prosecutions.

Use of contractual and utilisation data
If a contractual relationship between you and us is established, elaborated or amended, we store and use your personal data insofar as this is necessary for these specific purposes (pursuant to §28 of BDSG).
Upon instruction of the appropriate authorities, we may disclose information about this data in exceptional cases insofar as this is required for the purpose of criminal prosecutions, preserving public order and safety, fulfilling legal tasks of authorities or enforcing claims for intellectual property rights.

In order to extend the range of our internet presence and to make our site more convenient for your use, we use so-called “cookies“.
