Meet the Team

Fred Robinson has over a decade of experience in renewable energy finance and market development. As CEO, Fred oversees the development, financing, and construction of BayWa r.e.’s 9 GW portfolio in the US and LATAM. In addition to managing the US business, Fred is a member of the board of BayWa r.e.’s Solar Projects and Operation Services businesses covering the Americas.

Geoff Fallon brings an extensive development, engineering, and project management background to BayWa r.e. Solar Projects. As COO, Geoff oversees the company's project management, interconnection, engineering, procurement, and construction activities. Additionally, Geoff is focused on creating operational efficiency across all company operations.

Patrick McConnell has over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy field. As CFO, he manages all financial aspects of BayWa r.e. Solar Projects, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, and structured finance.

Mike Danielson is the Executive Vice President of Commercial for BayWa r.e. Solar Projects. He leads the commercial team on offtake sourcing for existing projects and origination of new project opportunities. The commercial team is responsible for PPA negotiations, location identification and analysis for new projects, and related data analytics.

Mike Stanton is the Vice President of Development for BayWa r.e. Solar Projects. He leads project development in the U.S., including greenfield site origination, real estate, site diligence, interconnection, and permitting. Mike and his team are also responsible for managing relationships with project stakeholders including landowners, permitting officials, utilities’ interconnection teams, and diligence consultants.

Joniecia Jones is the Senior Human Resources Director for BayWa r.e. Solar Projects. She manages and oversees HR functions for the company, including recruitment, employee engagement and retention, benefits, and learning and development. Joniecia joined BayWa r.e. Solar Projects in February 2022.

Carolina Núñez is Co-Head of Legal for the Americas region. She is responsible for providing strategic legal advice to all BayWa r.e. legal entities and projects, from early-stage development to completion. She supports teams in the negotiation and closing of contracts, including financing, supply and O&M agreements, tax equity investments, EPC Contracts, and M&A transactions.
